Union Square Academy for Health Sciences is dedicated to creating a college going culture for all students. Through a partnership with CollegeBound Initiative (CBI), Union Square Academy provides a full-time Director of College Counseling to assist students with their college application process. This includes essay writing, selecting colleges, one-on-one counseling, college trips, college fairs, College Admissions Counselors presentations, collecting letters of recommendation, applying to college, completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and reviewing all financial aid award letters to see which colleges are offering the best opportunities for students. The class of 2016 was the first graduating class of Union Square Academy. This class not only received over $1,000,000.00 in financial aid, scholarship, and grants, but 95% of graduating seniors matriculated into college.
